1. What does SAFI stand for?
SAFI - Social Advancement Foundation of India is a non profit charitable trust which came into existence in September 2001 with the objective of taking up academic and research programmes in frontier areas of science and technology and humanities. The trust is constituted by educationists, philanthropists and social activists with Dr.P.Mohamed Ali as the Chairman and Mr.T.P.Imbichammad as the Secretary.
2. Where is Safi Institute of Advanced Study (SIAS) located?
SIAS is located near Calicut in Malappuram District, about 8 kms from Ramanattukara in a vast campus of about 150 acres in a picturesque environment
3. Who are the members of the management committee of SIAS?

The management committee members of SIAS are:

5. To which University is SIAS affiliated to?

All the courses are affiliated to the University of Calicut.

6. Is transport facility available?

Yes, transport facility is available from Ramanattukara, Calicut to SIAS and back by the Institute Bus.

7. Is hostel facility provided?

Of course, separate hostel facility is provided for boys and girls.

8. Do you accept donations or capitation fees.

Since SIAS is run by a charitable trust donations or capitation fee is not accepted. The fee structure is as prescribed by the University of Calicut.

9. Does the Institute offer good facilities.

The Institute provides excellent lab facilities and infrastructure.

10. Are the Lecturers qualified?

The lecturers are chosen by a panel after an interview. All of them are qualified.
