A postgraduate course in Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) is offered at SIAS with appropriate facilities for training students.

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Course of the University of Calicut or any other University recognized by the University of Calicut as equivalent thereto and have secured a minimum of 45% marks in each of the Part I, Part II, Part III of the graduate course are eligible to apply. In the case of Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks required to be eligible to apply will be 43% and a pass minimum respectively in the qualifying examination. Candidates for admission will be selected on the basis of the results of the entrance tests conducted by Calicut University (50% seats) and subsequently by SIAS (50% - Management seats)
