Campus Now

Campus Now is the official lab journal of MA JMC students at SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (Vazhayoor), affiliated to the University of Calicut. We regularly bring out a print magazine with articles from the social realm. Here, in this blog, we post selected articles, reports, film reviews, academic papers etc.

The first editor of the Campus Now blog was Mr. Ayoob Rahman. However, it was Ms. Vrinda Venugopal who made the blog a remarkable platform for the students and staff of SAFI. Then, the next editor Ms. Nimmi Bhaskaran enthusiastically took the blog ahead with reports and views from outside the campus as well. Mr. P Muhammed Anwar took charge as the editor for the year 2012-13. Mr. Ashwin KV was at the helm of affairs in 2013-14. Ms. Aparna R was the editor of 2014-15, Mr. Abdul Samad P A was the assistant editor at that period. Mr. Vivek Venugopalan was the editor for 2015-16. Ms. Ashjan took charge during 2016-17. Ms. Anju C B remained editor during 2017-18 and Ms. Salma C served as the editor of Campus Now for the year 2018-19. During 2019-20, Adarsh Narayanan headed the editorial board and currently Aswin V serves as the editor of Campus Now.

Jamsheel Aboobacker served as the staff editor of the blog till June 2018.
Currently Mr. Akhilnath K S serves as the facilitating editor of Campus Now Magazine and Blog.
